Born in the early sixties, I have been taking pictures for a long time. Starting seriously in the 1980s with a Canon AE1 Program using film, this was an interesting time. A roll of film with 36 images on a fixed ISO type of film was not as flexible as we are today using the digital way. I even had my own dark room as I enjoyed experimenting. However, because of the cost of film and inflexibility, after a while I stopped taking pictures until the introduction of the digital camera. Nowadays each shot can be set up exactly as you wish. With these possibilities I got excited about photography once again and once a digital camera (an early Sony Cybershot) was purchased I never looked back. My interest is in macro, landscape, animal, architecture and even some event and portrait photography. This website showcases some of those images. Nowadays I mostly use a Canon 6DII or a Canon 7DII depending on the subject. Zoom lenses range from 16-35, 17-55, 24-70, 70-200 and 100-400 and a very rarely used 11-16. In addition a 50, 85 and a 100 macro for specific uses.
