Antwerp, bikersbridge

An interesting architectural construction in Antwerp (Belgium) is the biker's bridge. Built in 2016, crossing this bridge is an interesting experience. A pattern of openings, texture and structure gives you a feeling of space. The sun adds an interesting look of light and shadow. It serves as a gateway for pedestrians and bikers from the older centre to the northern part of town. Being on this location quite early in the morning on a Sunday made sure the bridge wasn't crowded as I wanted to emphasise the graphic look of the bridge.
