Big Island (Groot Eiland) walking tour

Early October 2022 my wife and I participated in a nature walk through a private and protected nature domain in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen called “Groot Eiland” (Big Island). It is an Island surrounded by connected creeks and waterways. Nature organization “De Steltkluut” organized this walk and guided us thru the domain and provided us with interesting information. I very much enjoyed the walk because of the variety of landscape, plants, trees and animals. Came home with lots of images and a bag full of walnuts and apples we gathered during the walk!
