Bourgoyen-Ossemeersen

Just outside Ghent (Belgium), you can find the Bourgoyen-Ossemeersen Nature Reserve. This is a beautiful marshy grassland where tens of thousands of birds flock every year to nest. There are several walking trails and is a great place to take pictures. To see the birds up close, you need binoculars or a telephoto lens. I’ve been there at different times of the year (and the day) and enjoyed myself every time.
