Both places are located on the way to the Finnish border along the E8 from Skibotn in the Skibotndalen valley. Lulledalen is a forest path, known for a diversity of orchids, for which we were apparently too late to see in bloom. What we did find there though were tons of mosquitos. Quite fierce as I ended up having over 30 bites on my back and arms even though I was wearing a jeans jacket! Nevertheless, along the path we also found the small waterfall in this well reserved nature park which features clear signs with interesting information. Rovijokfossen, is a wide waterfall in the Skibotndalen, directly along the E8, a little further down the road direction Finland. Lots of visitors find this spot as the access is just at the side of the road. Fortunately it wasn’t busy while we were there.
