Madeira 2024 - Porto Moniz

After Ilheus da Ribeira da Janela we took an alternative rout to the one I had in mind. That road was closed due to rockfall as well! As it turned out there were some nice views on that alternative road and some places where you can park the car. After finding a parking spot (not easy!) in town, we walked around the walkways at the coast. And we were mesmerized by the big waves hitting the rocks. A spectacular view! It was hard to leave the place but we needed to get some lunch. We did so at the end of the village and of course upon returning to the car we spent some more time looking at the waves. But then it was time to continue to Seixal.
