This is a nature conservation area and the largest fresh water tidal zone in Europe. Located close to Dordrecht (Netherlands). We (2 photobuddies and me) rented a “whisper” boat (this boat does not make much sound due to an electric engine) with guide who took us for half a day thru some nice areas. He also knew a couple of places where we left the boat in order to visit some interesting spots to take some pictures. We were surprised to see an electric power plant so close to the park. The power lines even cross the park! We got there before sunrise and saw the colors glow when the sun started to show above the horizon. The colorful patterns in the water and the patterns made by the boat were quite interesting. Again here I opted for some black and white images because I felt they were stronger than their color versions. I even turned some images of trees and their reflections a quarter as they looked like symmetrical trees that way and with high contrast the harsh light made water and sky almost white. A lot of fun during the shoot and maybe even more fun while processing the images!
